Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, April 30th in Bronwell 119 after the Engineering Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. The Engineering Appreciation Dinner is in the same room from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Please join us for the announcement of our new officers!

UConn SHPE Scholarship Application Due 4/23/2009!

The UConn SHPE Scholarship Application is now available and it is due Wednesday, April 23rd by 7pm. Please send your completed application to Jorge.

E-Board Elections Through Email

Elections will be held electronically this year. A ballot contaning the names of everyone that is running for E-Board positions will be emailed and posted here. In order to vote you will need to send Jorge your completed ballot. Open positions include:

• President
• Internal Vice-President
• External Vice-President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Lation Student Organization Representative
• JR SHPE Coordinator
• Committee Organizer

If you want to run for a position you must email Jorge what position you want to run for within the next 24 hours. You should also prepare a 1 minute speech in case you win.

SHPE Tutoring for Spring Semester!

February 22nd, 2009

We will be offering tutoring to everyone in the School of Engineering every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the SHPE office from 6PM - 9PM. The SHPE office is located in Bronwell 106. We will be starting this Monday, February 23rd. Anyone that needs help with Chemistry, Math, CSE, Physics, or other Engineering related courses is welcomed to attend. Second GBM of the Spring 2009 is February 12th!

Our second General Body Meeting of the semester is February 12th in PRLACC Activity Room at 6:00PM. We will be going over events that we are currently planning, and you will have a chance to sign up. The meeting will be short. Please make sure to stop by! PRLACC activity room is located on the 4th floor of the Student Union directly above the food court.
